‼️First of all you always have to prep the hair before you start to create the hairstyle. Preparation of the hair usually takes about 60%-70% of the total time used to create a hairstyle.

1. Use a hairdryer to lift and change the direction of the roots
2. Use a heat retainer brush to get volume and to smooth the hair. You can also use curling iron, but take the one with a bigger diameter of 32mm or even better 38mm, if you have one
3. Backcomb the hair on the roots following the direction of the hairstyle which you plan to create
