After many years of passion, innovation and dedication, our last remaining founder, Hans Fraeyman is retiring from mo-vis.

For Hans it started as a graduation project back in the 80's but it grew out to be so much more (many of you still know the 'old' HMC products).
In 2013 a new vision grew into mo-vis: a company focused on giving people with complex mobility needs more independence and better access solutions.

Yesterday we celebrated his career and we made a personalised keepsake featuring one of the products that became part of that journey: the mo-vis Micro Joystick. A product that has helped thousands of wheelchair users around the world to gain more independent control of their mobility.
For this special occasion, we custom-painted the topper in green, a nod to the first mo-vis branding 😉💚.

Over the past years, we have been carefully preparing this transition to ensure continuity for our customers, partners and users worldwide. The team and structure behind mo-vis remains fully in place and our mission continues unchanged!

Thank you Hans for everything you have built, the knowledge you shared and the impact you made you made on both the team and the users we support every day.

We wish you all the best for this next chapter 🍀

Sometimes the right wheelchair control can make all the difference.

We really enjoyed reading this story from Sunrise Medical about Xabian and the importance of having the right access solution for the individual user.

Not every power wheelchair user can use a standard joystick successfully. Finding the right setup often takes collaboration between the user, clinicians, ATPs and technology providers to create a solution that truly fits the person.

At mo-vis, that is exactly what motivates us every day: developing alternative controls that help people access and control their wheelchair in the way that works best for them.

Great example of how personalized access technology can create real impact 👏

A few months ago, we expanded in our current location! This blank space is now our new 'production area', where all the assembly and testing of mo-vis devices takes place! 🎉
