The Art of Natural Temple Closure.

A natural hairline shouldn’t simply continue as a straight line into the lateral temple.

Creating a straight, defined line is always easier, but it also be exactly screams hair transplant.

Natural temple closure requires a much softer transition.

The design needs to respect the individual patient, maintaining appropriate recession where necessary rather than simply filling every available space.

Placement must gradually soften through the transition, while the direction and angle of the hairs gently adjust at each point to follow the natural anatomy of the temple.

There should be no obvious point where the frontal hairline ends and the temple begins.

How are we looking at 4 months?

This patient presents just 4 months after a 2003 graft frontal restoration.

At this early stage, we can already see the transplanted grafts beginning to establish themselves and the shape of the new hairline becoming increasingly defined.

There is still plenty of development to come. The hair itself requires further maturation, with improvements in calibre, quality and overall density expected as the growth cycle progresses.

At only four months, however, this represents impressive early growth.

Part 1 -

A hair transplant should solve today’s problem without creating tomorrow’s.

After years of researching surgeons, this patient chose Dr. Bisanga for his very first hair transplant.

At 35 years old, with a Norwood 3/4A pattern, the goal wasn’t to create a low, aggressive hairline. Instead, the focus was on restoring a natural, age-appropriate hairline with strong density whilst preserving donor resources for the future.
3,251 grafts were transplanted, with recipient sites created at approximately 60 FU/cm² through the frontal hairline before gradually transitioning into lower densities behind. Careful donor management also meant that one side of the donor area remained completely untouched, preserving options should they ever be needed in the future.

Every decision in a first procedure matters. Hairline design, density, graft distribution and donor management should all work together, not just for the result you see at 12 months, but for the years ahead.

At first glance, the extraction pattern appears random.
