Каква прекрасна идея!
Not every student has a quiet desk waiting at home after school. In France, a retired teacher opens her garage in the evenings and turns it into a simple homework room, giving low-income students a calm place to read, study, and finish assignments.
The space is equipped with basic things that can make a big difference: desks, chairs, good lighting, books, and enough quiet to concentrate. Students can work without crowding around a kitchen table or trying to study in a noisy household. Because the room is run by a former teacher, they may also have someone nearby who understands schoolwork and can offer guidance when a lesson becomes difficult. The setup does not require a large building or expensive equipment; it uses an existing space and gives it a new purpose after the school day ends.
What makes the idea meaningful is how directly it responds to an everyday inequality. Two students may attend the same classroom, yet one goes home to a private study space while another does not. By opening her garage, the retired teacher helps narrow that gap in a practical way. A room normally used for storage becomes a small evening classroom where students can focus, complete their work, and return home with one less problem to carry.
