Eleven years after his passing on October 28, 2008, the work of Alexander Lowen, M.D. -- built upon the seminal work of Wilhelm Reich --continues to have a profound influence on life in the 21st Century.

Dr. Lowen founded The Alexander Lowen Foundation with the goal of furthering the continued development of Bioenergetics.

The roots of his work lay in the pioneering research of Wilhelm Reich and today, we see Lowen's impact go beyond the field of psychotherapy into many body-psychotherapy modalities and works like Grounded Spirituality by Jeff Brown.

As we remember Alexander Lowen, M.D., we honor our roots, his important contribution to the world and we continue to look into a future of healing the individual and cultural ills of the world.
