The truth is coming to light, and it’s darker than anyone could have imagined. What began as a typical investigation has turned into a full-blown scandal involving human remains, illegal body trade, and allegations of tainted meat in the supply chain of one of the world’s largest fast-food chains. The FBI’s shocking discovery at a Detroit-based business has the whole nation on edge. As the investigation unfolds, more gruesome details emerge, shaking the core of both the funeral home industry and the American public.

The FBI’s investigation led them to a Detroit business that appeared to be operating as a meat supplier. What they found was a horror scene straight out of a movie – boxes containing what appeared to be human remains. Yes, you read that right: human remains. This is not a simple case of spoiled meat or unhygienic conditions; this is something far more sinister and disturbing. Sources have confirmed that the FBI has seized several boxes from the business, which are believed to be filled with body parts. These findings are now in the possession of the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office for further testing and examination.

The business at the center of this gruesome scandal is “International Biological,” which advertised itself as a medical and educational service provider. However, the facade of being a reputable business quickly crumbled when law enforcement officers discovered that International Biological had been illegally buying and selling human body parts. The company is owned by a man named Art Rathburn, who holds a mortician’s license in Michigan, a credential he has had since 1982.

While International Biological was supposed to serve as a provider of biological specimens for legitimate educational purposes, the FBI’s investigation revealed a much darker side to the business. Sources suggest that it was functioning as a hub for illegal human body trafficking. The sight of boxes filled with human remains – limbs, torsos, organs – sent shockwaves through the local community and the nation as a whole.

Dr. Todd Strong -

Trauma can affect the gut in several ways:

Gut-brain axis disruption. Trauma can lead to chronic stress, which disrupts the communication between the brain and the digestive system via the vagus nerve.

Altered gut motility. Elevated cortisol levels can cause diarrhea or constipation.

Microbiome imbalance. Trauma and stress can reduce beneficial bacteria and promote harmful ones, leading to conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammation.

Increased intestinal permeability. This can result in a “leaky gut,” where larger particles pass into the bloodstream, triggering immune responses and inflammation.

Visceral hypersensitivity. The gut becomes more sensitive to pain or discomfort, as seen in IBS. 2
The gut is sometimes referred to as the “second brain” because it houses millions of neurons and is exquisitely sensitive to emotional states. When trauma is unresolved, the gut remains on guard.

Healing trauma often involves creating safety within the nervous system, which can improve digestion.

Practices such as gentle bodywork, breathwork, somatic therapies, mindfulness, and compassionate touch can help signal to the body that it is safe to rest, digest, and repair.
