On 7th May 2026: We are pleased to announce that Dr. Gyambo Sithey has officially joined the Bhutan Health Trust Fund (BHTF) as Director, following his selection through an open and competitive process.

The Hon’ble Chairperson of the BHTF extends a warm welcome to Dr. Gyambo. He holds a PhD in Public Health from the School of Public Health, University of Sydney, Australia. With his extensive experience, professionalism, and strong commitment to public service, we are confident that he will provide visionary leadership in advancing the Fund’s mandate of ensuring sustainable financing for essential healthcare services in Bhutan.

The Board and the Secretariat look forward to work closely with him to further strengthen the organization and enhance its contributions to the health and well-being of the people of Bhutan.
