Five entrepreneurs from the compendium of investment-ready projects under the Department of Industry were given the opportunity to pitch their businesses for foreign direct investment (FDI) to a 15-member business delegation led by Mr. Christian Stadil, Honorary Consul of Bhutan in Denmark.

The presentations showcased diverse sectors, including agriculture, mindfulness experiences, energy, and other innovative products. Two outstanding entrepreneurs were awarded cash prizes of USD 2,000 each.

The entire programme has been recorded and will be screened in Denmark for possible collaboration and investments.

Exactly one month after the successful conclusion of the 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐡𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭, the Department of Industry convened a post-engagement meeting with local project proponents. The session provided an opportunity to debrief, review progress, and discuss areas where further support may be required.

The Department remains committed to supporting and facilitating local project proponents at every step of their investment journey, ensuring that promising ideas continue to move forward toward successful implementation.

The momentum from the 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐡𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 continues to translate into meaningful partnerships.

Mr. Mani Pradhan, who presented his project during the Summit held on February 12–13, 2026, in Thimphu, has signed an MoU with a foreign investor at the Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand, marking another step forward in turning ideas into action.

This reflects the growing confidence and interest in Bhutan as a destination for investment and collaboration.
