The medical community mourns the loss of one of our own.

Dr. Naun Bonilla dedicated his life to healing, serving others, and making a difference in the lives of countless patients and families. His loss is deeply felt not only by those who knew and loved him, but by healthcare professionals across Belize who share in this grief.

As we honor his life and legacy, we also stand united in calling for justice.

Violence has taken a healer from our community. We cannot allow such tragedies to become the norm. Together, we must continue to advocate for peace, accountability, and safer communities for all.

The medical community grieves. The nation mourns. We remember. We honor. We demand justice.

The Management and Staff of Belmopan Medical Centre extend our deepest sympathies to our esteemed colleague Dr. Deborah Chin, her husband Dr. Adrian Coye, and their family on the passing of Dr. Chin’s beloved mother.

During this time of sorrow, we keep the family in our thoughts and prayers, hoping they find strength, comfort, and peace in the cherished memories they shared together.

May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may God's love surround and sustain the family in the days ahead. 🤍
