Today, our hearts are broken.
Dr. Naun Bonilla was more than a doctor. He was our friend, a beloved father, husband, servant of the community, and a soldier of God. He represented the good that still exists in this world, and BMIC strongly condemns the senseless act of violence that ended his life.
Let it go down on record that Dr. Bonilla was a true HERO until the very end, protecting his daughter with courage, love, and sacrifice.
Humanity took a blow today. We can only pray for his family, his friends, and especially his young daughter, that God may grant them the strength to carry on through this unimaginable pain.
Dr. Bonilla understood the value and sacredness of life. We are in shock, and our hearts are heavy.
Rest in peace, dear brother, doctor, father, husband, friend, and fellow servant of humanity.
You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
