BREAKING: Hegseth squirms as he gets caught lying with his own words on live TV!
Secretary of War Crimes Pete Hegseth had a disastrous appearance on Face the Nation this morning, where he was brutally called out for contradicting his own previous testimony on U.S. munitions stockpiles.
When asked about Ukraine’s urgent request for more interceptors and co-production of Patriot missiles, Hegseth launched into his usual propaganda:
“Nobody makes better and more munitions than the United States of America… our stockpiles are great, and they’re only getting stronger…”’
But host Margaret Brennan read back his own earlier testimony acknowledging serious shortages and that some munitions take far longer to produce than others. Hegseth immediately snapped:
“You don’t have to read back to me what I testified.”
With the usual defiant tilt of his chin, Hegseth attempted to project bravado but couldn’t help squirming, deflecting, and blaming Joe Biden, as one always does when caught in a lie.
Hegseth figures that if Trump can live in a fantasy world, so can he. In his dry-drunk mind, everything is going perfectly in every way, and anyone who says differently is a liar with an agenda.
But the fact remains that the U.S. continues to struggle replenishing stockpiles drained by the Iran quagmire and support for Ukraine as well as other global commitments.
Now he’s on national television contemptuously denying any such problem exists, just like the Boss does. Deny everything and hope nobody remembers what you said last month.
If it wasn’t for that wascally wabbit Margret Brennan bringing it up ...
Hegseth’s performance was embarrassing, even for him. His tough-guy shtick, just recently betrayed by his pathetic attempts at bench pressing while spending some bro time with a group of servicemen.
The American people deserve honesty about the state of our military readiness, not some Trump Mini-Me obfuscation through rhetorical dross.
Hegseth shames the brave men and women who serve every day. He must go.

BREAKING: Republican Rep. Lisa McClain says midterms will be “common sense vs. crazy” – then delivers some contemporary “idiocracy”!
Rep. Lisa McClain (R-MI) went on an unhinged rant with Fox’s Maria Bartiromo this morning, claiming the 2026 midterms will be a battle between “common sense” Republicans and “crazy” Democrats.
“This is exactly the kind of idiocracy that is going on in these education systems,” she said, referring to the idea of treating gender-conflicted kids as human beings.
Yes, she actually used the word “idiocracy” – a reference to the 2006 movie where society has devolved into a nation of absolute morons. The irony is breathtaking.
McClain then promptly proved our point, laying out her version of “common sense” when it comes to biological genders, de-funding the police, and believing (unlike the rest of us!) that criminals should be punished and victims protected.
She delivered all this like a preacher on Sunday, as if she was dropping profound revelations instead of recycled MAGA talking points from 2018.
Behold Republican thought leadership in 2026, courtesy of a congresswoman who thinks she’s making a bold stand by saying men shouldn’t be in women’s locker rooms and that criminals should go to jail. Truly groundbreaking stuff.
The real idiocracy is just what this lady is trying to serve us for Sunday brunch. Republicans pretend they are the party of casual racism and fundamentalist Christianity as “common sense” while pushing conspiracy theories, culture war nonsense, and loyalty tests to a declining cult leader.
To paraphrase said cult leader, this is pretty low-IQ stuff. Buckle up, Democrats, this is the type of political theater that awaits as we gear up for the midterms.
All indications are we will be sending them all home en masse from Washington to make trouble at their local school boards.
That’s common sense.

BREAKING: Trump furious and White House in panic after reporters obtain secret audio from Situation Room meetings on Epstein!
Top Trump officials are in full meltdown mode after learning that New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan reportedly obtained audio recordings from inside the ultra-secure White House Situation Room for their upcoming book “Regime Change.”
Using the Situation Room for a purely domestic political discussion about the Epstein files without the President present was highly unusual, and sources say top officials were deliberately hiding from Trump because he would explode every time Epstein’s name came up.
Independent recording devices are strictly forbidden in the most secure Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility, or SCIF, in the entire U.S. government. Yet somehow, detailed audio from high-level meetings appears to have gotten out.
We are reminded – unfortunately since this is a national security matter – more of the Cone of Silence from Get Smart.
According to Axios, the entire White House from the Boss on down is “furious” about the blow-by-blow accounts. The NYT’s splashy excerpt from the book centered on the White House’s handling of the DOJ files on Jeffrey Epstein.
It included directly quoted accounts from numerous Situation Room meetings in which high-level officials made candid statements such as White House counsel David Warrington floating the idea of a presidential pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell.
Haberman and Swan obtaining Situation Room audio would undoubtedly draw renewed scrutiny on the administration’s ability to keep sensitive conversations private. The Axios report noted recording devices are not allowed in the Situation Room, which the government calls “one of the most secure settings on Earth.”
Unlike his first administration, which leaked like a sieve, Trump has been determined to suppress on-background out-of-school tales of its perennial dysfunction, and by and large been successful.
Until now, of course, as the good ship Trump takes on water and the rats start to think about their careers going forward. As things get worse, expect more of these breaches to happen.
Kudos to Haberman and Swan on their scoop. And to all the red-faced participants reading their names in the paper and soon a book, as Maxwell Smart would say, too bad you “missed it by that much

The Trump team is melting down because The Weather Channel committed the unforgivable crime of doing its job by giving an accurate forecast of Sunday evening’s weather for the outdoor blood sport extravaganza that starts at eight.
There is a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms, heavy downpours, wind gusts up to 34 mph, and triple-digit heat index threatening the big cage fights on the White House South Lawn under the 92-foot high steel lightning rod known as The Claw.
"Predictably, the Trump White House’s Rapid Response X account melted down over the truth:
“This event is about celebrating America’s unmatched greatness after 250 years -- which apparently doesn’t sit well with the friendless loser who wrote this bu****it clickbait headline. Rain or shine, we’re celebrating our great country no matter what. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
How dare a meteorologist warn people that an outdoor event in mid-June D.C. might get rained out? The absolute gall!
Instead of adjusting plans for a legitimate weather threat, Trumpworld chose to launch a pathetic ad hominem attack on someone simply reporting the forecast. A friendless loser? What'd that guy (or girl) ever do to you?
This is what happens when your entire brand is built on the premise of being the greatest of all time in all things and the denial of objective reality, where even Mother Nature must stand down and any who says differently must have something severely wrong with them.
Trump’s lackeys can scream God Bless America all they want. They can knock themselves out raging at the heavens like King Lear on the heath.

BREAKING: Sen. Warnock calls for Supreme Court reform, telling NBC that “All options are on the table” – including adding seats!
In a powerful interview on Meet the Press, Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) made it crystal clear that Democrats are done playing defense against a corrupted Supreme Court.
Asked by host Kristin Welker if he would support adding seats to the Court, Warnock answered affirmatively:
“I think all options have to be on the table… We definitely need reform to this court. We need a code of ethics.”
Warnock laid the blame for the court’s descent squarely on Donald Trump and his acolytes for igniting a “terrible race to the bottom” through extreme gerrymandering and weaponizing the courts to make decisions favorable to the MAGA agenda to sometimes devastating effect on our fundamental freedoms.
In calling out the current Court for pouring “fuel on that fire” and undermining its own credibility, Warnock is making a significant shift in tone.
Expanding the Court, imposing term limits, and enforcing a real code of ethics have all become legitimate responses to the right-wing capture of the judiciary, and the influential Warnock is on board with it.
Since he managed to bully Congress into confirming his ideological right-wing nominees, Trump has considered the Supreme Court to be in his pocket, fuming with righteous indignation if they dare oppose him. Not because they are right or wrong, but because they didn’t acquiesce to his will after he took the trouble to nominate them.
But Warnock just made it clear: in his mind the era of one-sided rules must end, by whatever legal means necessary.
The Reverend Dr. Warnock speaks for all sensible Americans when he says he is tired of a Supreme Court that protects billionaires, strips away rights, and acts as an unelected super-legislature.
Fair is fair. If Republicans keep abusing the hallowed institution, Democrats have every right to fix it.
And all options should indeed be on the table.
