Meet the Team Monday! 💙
This week, we’re getting to know Cindy Haywood, one of our Pharmacy Assistants! Cindy has been part of our team for the past 4 years, and she’s usually here helping out on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Cindy has always had an interest in pharmacy, making it a natural fit for her. Outside of work, you can find her enjoying two of her favourite hobbies — gardening and baking. 🌱🧁
When it comes to lunch, Cindy keeps it simple with a classic combo: a sandwich, chips, and, of course, a cookie! 🍪

Meet the Team Monday! 💙
This week, we’re introducing Dena Handrahan, one of our pharmacists! You’ll usually find her at the pharmacy on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Dena has been a pharmacist with us for 3 years, but she’s been part of our pharmacy family for even longer, spending 3 summers with us as a pharmacy student before becoming a pharmacist.
Becoming a pharmacist was something Dena always knew she wanted to do. She says she’s wanted to pursue pharmacy for as long as she can remember, and having a mom who is also a pharmacist meant she grew up with plenty of insight into the profession.
When she’s not at the pharmacy, Dena enjoys baking, meeting up with friends for coffee, and spending time with family. ☕️
For lunch, Dena loves a chili salad from the Alberton bakery— or, even better, leftovers from supper the night before!
We’re excited to keep introducing you to the wonderful people who make up our team and sharing a little more about each of them. 💙

Meet the Team Monday! 💙

We’re excited to start a new series where you’ll get to know the friendly faces behind our pharmacy! Over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing our team and sharing a little about what they do, what they enjoy, and some fun facts along the way.

This week, we’re introducing Kari MacWilliams, one of our Pharmacy Assistants, the person behind our social media, and one of the masterminds behind our “Best Theme Float” at the Alberton Parade! 🎉 Kari is in her second summer with us and is usually here Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday.

Kari chose pharmacy because she enjoys helping people and making a positive impact in the community. When she’s not at the pharmacy, she’s often playing volleyball or enjoying summer days in her nanny’s pool. 🏐☀️

Kari will be heading back to University soon, so we only have her for the next two weeks. While we’ll miss having her around, we’re excited to see what’s ahead for her!

And of course, her go-to lunch order is a steak panini from the Alberton Irving

We’re looking forward to introducing more of our wonderful team and giving you a chance to get to know the people behind the counter! 💙
