Lilac Place: Resources for Women We are a space dedicated to supporting women as well as nonbinary and gender-expansive people who feel affirmed in our space.

Our goal is to foster a community where all who experience gender-based oppression can find support, resources, and connection.

We have exciting news!

Lilac Place is developing a new 8 week Financial Wellness Program and we want your help shaping it! We want to make sure this program reflects the needs and experiences of our community, so we are inviting you to join us on August 19th from 6pm-7pm to share your ideas.

Your feedback will help shape the topics, activities, and supports offered throughout the program. Can't make it? We would still love to hear from you!

Reminder that tomorrow is our Lunch & Learn with Stephanie Keilhack from the Music Instrument Lending Library (MILL)

FYI - The collection of Instruments live at the Parrsboro Band Hall, and the program is volunteer run. This event will have instruments available for borrowing from our office. However, instrument pickup is usually either in Parrsboro or Springhill. Other areas in Cumberland are occasionally available for pickup.

This program runs with the generous support of private donors, the Parrsboro Band Association, and the Southampton, Parrsboro, Advocate and Region Community Health Board (SPAR CHB).

It's been a while since we've held a Junk Journal workshop. This is a great way to express yourself when you don't have many words to process experiences. By applying collage, doodling, and colour to a page you can release joy, pain, curiosity, negativity and so many more emotions.

Please register for this workshop, to help us make sure we have enough materials to go around.
