Here’s the thing: those first two minutes aren’t small talk. 💛

Google’s Project Aristotle found the #1 thing great teams have in common is psychological safety: feeling safe enough to speak up, ask questions, and share the wild ideas.

And that safety gets built in the small moments. Like asking, “What’s something that made you laugh this week?” and actually listening to the answer.

✨ Your challenge: take two minutes at your next meeting. Ask one real question. (Not “how are you?” We all know the answer is “fine.”)

On October 1st, we’re gathering around the table for a special Thanksgiving dinner together. 💛

We’ll be in the smaller private room at Southcote 53, creating a more intimate evening to share a meal, get to know one another a little better, make new connections and catch up with friends.

Gratitude is more than a nice feeling — it’s a practice that changes what we notice.

Research in positive psychology has linked gratitude practices with greater positive emotion, stronger relationships, improved well-being, and a greater tendency to notice what’s working rather than only what’s missing.

When gratitude is expressed — not just felt — people are more likely to feel seen, valued and connected.

So on World Gratitude Day, try this:

Notice the good.
Name the good.
Grow the good.

Who made your day easier?
Who showed up?
Who helped?
Who deserves to hear it?

Tell them.

Because the good we notice is often the good we strengthen.

Build the People. Build the Belonging. Build the Culture.

Let’s be real… who hasn’t performed in the mirror with a hairbrush microphone? 🎤😏

Consider this your June funtervention. 🎶 Whether you can already sing or want to learn.

Mirror operas. 🪞
Kitchen concerts. 🍳
Shower solos. 🚿
Car karaoke. 🚗

We all do it. And yet… when it comes to singing in front of others, we suddenly think:

“Yikes.”
“I’m not good enough.”
“I’m tone deaf.”
“I could never.”

But you don’t need to be “good” to sing. You just need to be willing. This isn’t about performance. It’s about what happens when you actually use your voice.

We’ll take you on a SPIRE wholebeing happiness journey and we’ve partnered with Saints Studios and choral conductor Sze Chen Cheong, who brings 30+ years of experience, to create a one-night guided group singing experience that’s welcoming, supportive, and honestly… just really fun.
