Hey guys, we got asked recently if we use piercing guns or if we exclusively use piercing needles.

We do not use piercing guns. Ever. Not here.

You shouldn't be getting pierced with a gun. Period. Always go to a professional piercer in a professional studio. Not an at home setup, not somebody wiping down a kitchen table and calling it good, and not a place that sells cheap jewelry and suddenly decides they're also a piercing shop.

There's a reason professional piercing exists. Sterility, proper technique, proper jewelry, proper placement, and proper healing.

Piercing guns cause unnecessary trauma and damage. They force blunt jewelry through tissue instead of creating a clean opening with a sterile needle. That can mean more swelling, more healing issues, and more complications.

Your body has to wear that piercing every day. Don't cheap out on it.
