Meet Gillian, the owner of Island Beach Hideaways, an adults-only luxury glamping dome resort tucked away along the beautiful Nova Scotia coast located directly beside Pomquet Beach Provincial Park!
The property was created around something we could all use a little more of… slowing down, disconnecting from the everyday and making time to recharge.

Our waterfront glamping domes offer the comforts of a boutique getaway while keeping you connected to nature. Each dome is fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom and loft space, along with your own open-air hot tub, outdoor shower and waterfront gazebo! It’s the perfect setting for relaxation, connection and a little reset.

Guests can make their stay even more special with optional romance, wellness and food packages designed to add another layer to the experience.

On site there is IBH Gift Shop & Store, filled with locally made products, unique finds, health and wellness items, Nova Scotia keepsakes and plenty of little treasures and treats.

And because wellness can absolutely include treating yourself 😉 there is Island Beach Sand Bar, serving ice cream, bubble tea, slushies, luxe smoothies and loaded bubble waffles.

🧋 I’ll be bringing a little taste of the Sand Bar to the expo and serving some delicious boba slushies at my booth!

Natural Powers Inc. is a Cape Breton-based nature and wellness company dedicated to helping people reconnect with the natural world and discover the many gifts found within it.

Founded by wildcrafter, forager, herbalist and Certified Sylvotherapy Practitioner Cindy L Powers, Natural Powers brings together a deep appreciation for the forest with a passion for traditional herbal knowledge, responsible wildcrafting, natural wellness and mindful connection with nature.

Sharmen's Soul7 Yoga offers Hatha and Restorative practices at The Old Legacy - Studio in Antigonish. Sharmen believes in offering smaller classes giving each participant a sense of space, comfort, and confidence in attending practice. Modifications and props are offered - these can be used for beginners and/or experienced yogis to make the practice their own. Sharmen also offers private sessions for singles, doubles, and small groups. In addition to weekly classes, special yoga series are also offered.

Come spend the day connecting, exploring, learning, and celebrating the incredible women doing beautiful work throughout our communities!

On Sunday, October 4th, we’re bringing together inspiring women entrepreneurs, wellness practitioners, holistic health providers, facilitators, community organizations, and support services from Guysborough, Antigonish, Cape Breton, and beyond!

This isn’t just a day to walk around and browse - we want you to truly experience what these women have to offer!

✨ Meet and connect with women and businesses in your area

✨ Explore different wellness practices and local services

✨ Enjoy demos and mini sessions offered throughout the day by some of our incredible facilitators

✨ Discover new resources, supports, products, and experiences

✨ Network, chat, ask questions, and make meaningful connections

Want to help us make something beautiful happen?

Our 2nd Annual Women’s Wellness Expo is happening October 4th in Guysborough, and we’re looking for a few wonderful people to help us bring the day to life!

This event is completely FREE for vendors and facilitators to participate in, and FREE for our community to attend - and that’s something we’re really proud of!

To help make the day as welcoming and special as possible, we’re looking for:

Volunteers willing to lend a hand before, during, or after the event

Donations of food and drinks - teas, yummy snacks, refreshments, or anything you’d love to share with the community

Every little bit of support helps us create a beautiful day of connection, wellness, community and women supporting women!

We’ve been a little quieter around here this summer, but we're still deep in planning!

Last summer, we gave ourselves permission to really step away and focus on our own well being. This summer has looked a little different. We’ve still been making space for ourselves, our families and our own growth, while also pouring a lot of energy into the other pieces of our lives and businesses.

Seven Ember Events & Wellness has had a very full summer, Exploring Embodiment has been growing in beautiful ways, and Spirit Sauna is getting ready to open its doors again for another season in September!

And behind the scenes at Sacred Synergy Collective there has been a LOT happening.

We’ve been deep in preparation for our Fall Reiki Master Level Training, planning the Women’s Wellness Expo, happening in October, dreaming up our fall wellness events, and beginning to plan some really beautiful retreats and experiences for the months ahead!

We’re also officially cacao retailers now, which still feels so exciting to say. If you’ve been looking for ceremonial cacao for your own practice, gatherings or just to enjoy at home, reach out to us.

And one we are especially excited about… we’ll be returning to FireLoch in November for a Sacred Hearts Ceremony. More on that very soon.

We can't wait to gather with you again soon!
