Iron Root Farm Haskap berry farm located in Armstrong, BC

Iron Root Farm came to life in January of 2017 after Ryan and Lisa Tanner and their two boys purchased a farm located in Armstrong, British Columbia and planted 8 acres of Haskap Berry plants. This nutritionally loaded berry can help in our fight of preventing common diseases such as diabetes, inflammatory diseases, cancers and cardiovascular diseases to name a few. The Tanner’s are so excited to

watch their farm grow and stay true to their vision in providing premium quality berries by working towards their organic status.

First post of ‘23 on the farm account and there’s a personal spin to it (hence the photo 😉) Everyone meet Rhett, our first grandchild! ❤️. Our family is over the moon in love with this little guy. Aside from the joy Rhett has brought into our lives, life has thrown some curveballs our way. As you all know we are a family run farm who have businesses/jobs off the farm. Finding a balance between family, work and farm is never easy. Our fearless leader, Ryan (aka husband, dad, Papa Digger) is working out of town this summer and we rely on him to keep our farm running. As a result, we have decided that we will not be opening for U-pick this season. We are sorry for disappointing our farm supporters, but we hope you will understand. We wish everyone a summer filled with the things that make you the happiest.

U-pick season is truly our favourite part of our berry season. Getting to visit with old and new faces is always fun.

U-pick continues Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:00am until noon and will continue throughout July Thursday to Sunday with the same hours.
