Good morning everyone!

In recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, our pharmacy will be closed today Wednesday, September 30th, 2026. This day is dedicated to honoring the survivors, families and communities affected by residential schools. We will reopen with regular hours tomorrow Thursday, October 1st, 2026.

Meet our new pharmacist, Suzie Lalopoulou! 💚

We’re so excited to welcome Suzie to the Northern Wellness Pharmacy family and the Ashern community! 🎉💊

Suzie is a 2023 Pharm. D. graduate with a real passion for rural pharmacy and most importantly, the wonderful people and connections that come with being part of a close-knit community.

Before joining us in Ashern, Suzie spent the past few years working in Swan River and Dauphin, where she loved getting to know and caring for the communities she served. Now, she’s excited to bring that same passion, energy and care to Ashern and the surrounding communities!

Outside of the pharmacy, Suzie enjoys reading and baking - and she has one very important request:

Someone please invite her to pickleball! 🏓😃

Suzie is also excited to provide trusted pharmacy care to our patients including injections, UTI prescribing and horrible jokes (her words, not ours 😆).

We’re incredibly happy to have Suzie join our team and can’t wait for everyone in the community to meet her!

🎉 A huge congratulations to Ella! 🎉

We are very excited to announce that our valued team member Ella has officially received her pharmacist licence! 👏

Ella moved to Ashern with her husband John in 2023 and has been part of our team since March of this year. Her hard work, dedication and commitment to patient care have been evident throughout her exams and internship and we are so fortunate to have her on our team!

As impressive as Ella’s knowledge and work ethic are, what we appreciate most is the kind, caring and fun personality she brings to work every day. She makes our workplace more enjoyable and helps our patients feel welcome and cared for.

And there’s even more to celebrate! Ella and John are expecting their first child this October. What an exciting year for their family! 🩵

Congratulations on all of your accomplishments Ella! We are incredibly proud of you and so excited to see what the future holds. We know you are going to be an amazing pharmacist and we’re very lucky to have you as part of our team! ☺️

🎉 Happy 2 Year Anniversary Jenn! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating a very special milestone - our amazing pharmacy assistant Jenn has officially been part of the Northern Wellness Pharmacy family for 2 years!

From her warm smile and welcoming personality that greets every customer, to making sure prescriptions are prepared on time, to somehow keeping Dan organized 😆, Jenn plays such an important role in everything we do.

Her kindness, hard work and dedication help make Northern Wellness Pharmacy the welcoming place it is and we’re incredibly grateful to have her as part of our team.

Please be advised that our pharmacy will be closed tomorrow November 11, 2025 in honour of Remembrance Day, as we take time to remember and honour the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country.
