On World Humanitarian Day, we recognize the compassion, courage and commitment of those who serve others in times of need.

Across Alberta, paramedics make a meaningful difference every day—providing care, reassurance and support to people during some of life’s most challenging moments.

Today, the Alberta Paramedic Association acknowledges their dedication and the important role they play in communities throughout the province.

Thank you to Alberta’s paramedics for your continued service.

National EMS appreciation week would not be complete without celebrating our Supervisor & Station Manager, Meghan Halas!

Meghan is a Primary Care Paramedic and has been with North Alta Whitehawk EMS for almost 17 years!

Day and night she supports, uplifts and advocates for our crew, patients and community. Meghan is an integral part of our service & our crews would not be able to provide high quality care without her exemplary leadership and guidance!
