💬Comment “MAIN” if you’re tired of being told your symptoms are “just stress” or “just aging.” 👇

The sleepless nights. The hair shedding. The unexpected heart flutters. The brain fog. The sudden changes in your body.

When you bring up each symptom separately, it’s easy to treat them as unrelated. But sometimes, the bigger picture tells a different story.

Perimenopause can affect multiple systems at once, and symptoms can overlap with thyroid issues, nutrient deficiencies, stress, and other health factors. That’s why looking at your symptoms, history, and appropriate lab work together can provide more useful context than focusing on one number.

Your symptoms are real. And they deserve to be investigated—not simply dismissed.

💬 Comment “MAIN” if you want to learn more about finding the bigger picture behind your symptoms.

Your health is more than a checklist of symptoms. It's how you feel when you wake up, move through your day, and spend time with the people who matter most.

At Thrive, we believe feeling your best starts with understanding your body, not just treating what's on the surface. Through personalized, compassionate care, we work with you to uncover what's contributing to your symptoms and create a plan that supports your long-term well-being.

Wherever you are on your health journey, know that you don't have to navigate it alone.

Sometimes, the first step is simply having someone who listens.

💬Comment “ROOT” if you’ve experienced a symptom that made you wonder, “What is happening to me?” 👇

Perimenopause isn’t always obvious. It can show up in unexpected ways heart palpitations, hair and nail changes, sensitive or dry skin, mood shifts, unusual sensations in your mouth, ringing ears, or waking up with unexplained anxiety at 3 a.m.

These symptoms can have many possible causes, but when several changes start happening around the same time, it may be worth looking at the bigger picture.

You don’t have to dismiss new symptoms as “just stress” or “just getting older.” Pay attention to the patterns and talk with a qualified healthcare professional about what you’re experiencing.

💬 Comment “ROOT” and tell us which symptom you noticed first.

Sometimes, men notice the changes but don’t know what to make of them.

Less energy. Less motivation. Changes in strength, sleep, mood, or drive. And often, the first thought is, “I guess this is just getting older.”

But you don’t have to dismiss how you feel.

Testosterone can play a role, but so can sleep, stress, thyroid function, and your overall metabolic health. That’s why I believe it’s important to look at the whole picture, not just one number.

If you haven’t felt like yourself lately, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to understand why.

You deserve to feel heard, supported, and informed about your health.

How do you say you’re in perimenopause without saying you’re in menopause?

You buy a box of tampons at a resort gift shop in Mexico for five times what they cost at home.

Because nobody warned you. You packed the swimsuit, the sunscreen, the good sandals. You did not pack for a visitor. You were fairly confident had retired.

The struggle is real. Now let me tell you the physiology, because this is the part nobody explains. Menopause is a diagnosis you can only make looking backwards. 12 consecutive months with no period. That is the definition. Until you cross that line, you’re in perimenopause, and perimenopause is not a slow tidy feed. It is a series of ambushes

Cycles get shorter. Then longer. Then they skip two months entirely and come back like nothing happened. Oestrogen does not decline in a straight line, it swings. Ovulation still happens, unpredictably, which is exactly why this can catch you sideways in a hotel room 3000 km from your own bathroom.

And here’s the piece that makes women feel crazy: FSH and oestradiol move day today during the stage. One random blood draw catches one moment on a very bumpy curb. That is how you end up being told everything looks normal while your body is clearly running its own agenda. So no, you are not imagining it. Your cycle going rogue is not chaos. It is date.

The free workbook is where you turn to turn it into data you can use. The symptom clarity assessment gives you the words for what you have actually been feeling. The hormone sequence shows you the order to look at cortisol, thyroid, and s*x hormones, because the order changes what you learn. And the appointment prep pages mean you walk out with a plan instead of of a shrug.

Grab it here: hotflashtohotdamnbook.com/workbook and the link is in the bio.

Then, send this to the friend who is going to laugh and then quietly go check her calendar. She thinks she is the only one. She is not.

And packed the supplies. Resort markup is its own kind of hot flash.

Stop guessing. Start living with precision.

Educational content only, not medical advice. Talk with your own provider about your body.

Belly fat that won’t budge? Chin hairs? Bloating? Night sweats? Waking up at 3 AM?

If you’re experiencing several of these symptoms, you’re not imagining it, and it may not be “random.”

During perimenopause, estrogen can swing unpredictably, affecting your brain, gut, skin, hair, and temperature regulation.

Your symptoms are telling a story. Look at the whole pattern, not just one symptom.

Save this if you recognize more than 3.

💬 Comment “LAB” if your digestion has changed and you’re wondering whether your thyroid could be part of the bigger picture. 👇

Heartburn that keeps coming back. Constipation that comes and goes. Bloating that gets worse by dinner. Foods you’ve always tolerated suddenly causing discomfort. Feeling overly full or nauseated after small meals.

These symptoms can have many possible causes, but thyroid function can affect digestion and gastrointestinal motility, particularly when thyroid hormone levels are low.

That’s why persistent digestive changes deserve more than another diet change or quick fix. Looking at your symptoms alongside your health history and appropriate lab work can help provide a clearer picture.

💬 Comment “LAB” if you’ve experienced these digestive changes and want to learn more about what your thyroid may be telling you.

Save this post for your next conversation with your healthcare provider. 🤍

Your health is more than a number on a lab report.

Sometimes, the most important part of your health story is how you actually feel. Your energy, sleep, hormones, metabolism, and overall well-being are all connected.

That’s why we believe in taking the time to look at the bigger picture and understand what your body may be telling you.

Thrive was created around a simple idea: your care should feel personal because your health is personal.

If you’re curious about precision testing, we’re here to support you at Thrive.
