The Care in the Cart campaign enabled us to purchase a number of pieces of critical diagnostic equipment, with the new digital X-ray system serving as the cornerstone of the project. This morning, Quinte Health was pleased to welcome Hastings–Lennox and Addington MPP Ric Bresee and Bay of Quinte MPP Tyler Allsopp and to North Hastings Hospital to announce a $2,558,109 investment from the Ontario government through the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.

The funding will support important projects at North Hastings Hospital, Belleville General Hospital and Trenton Memorial Hospital, including rehabilitation of the NHH helipad, replacement of its nurse call system, and roof, flooring, an air handling unit, security and other infrastructure improvements at BGH and TMH.

These investments may happen behind the scenes, but they make a meaningful difference, helping our teams provide safe, reliable, high-quality care in the communities we serve.
