Today we had the privilege of attending the last meeting for the current Faraday Council. We celebrated the annual donation of $10,000 to North Hastings Fund Development for hospital equipment needs. Over the years Faraday Council has been a very big part of our success. We expressed our gratitude to the current Council members for the very important partnership we have developed. We thanked them for not just accepting what we tell them but for challenging us, asking questions and making sure we are always accountable. Thank you!

We’re proud to share that the Care in the Cart campaign for North Hastings Hospital has reached its goal, with $1.25 million raised in cash and pledges.

The funds will support the purchase of essential equipment, including a few items such as a new X-ray machine, cardiac monitors, an ECG machine, a trauma stretcher and a Holter monitor.

The new X-ray machine will make a huge difference for our team. Last year alone, our team at NHH performed more than 22,000 X-rays.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this happen—donors, volunteers, and community partners. And a special thank you to Kim Bishop, Campaign Chair if the North Hastings Hospital Fund Development Committee for her incredible commitment and leadership throughout the campaign.

Every contribution helped get us here, and this support means our teams will have the equipment they need to care for patients and families in North Hastings.

Thank you for showing just how much this hospital means to this community.
