One year ago today šŸ‡®šŸ‡³ itā€™s amazing what happens in 365 days. Thank you for reminding me of our adventures in India. It was a trip of a lifetimešŸ¤Seeing the Taj Mahal at sunrise on April 27th, 2025 marked a day of wonder and marvel of the human experience. One of 11 female guides from over 200 men gave us a unique back story of this wonder of the world. Plus the red fort blew my mind - the scale and imagining elephants and crocodiles surrounding the perimeter took my mind to another time in history.
Itā€™s many reasons why I love to travel: to connect, inspire and appreciate the beauty of life.

Alas it propels me to keep painting botanicals to encourage Mother Nature to make a stop for some April showers & sunshine. A daisyā€™s ability to bloom after winter makes them a symbol of hope, cheerfulness and renewal.

No matter what,there are things that remain consistent in my life. I came across this old photo from maybe 10yrs agošŸ¤” It reminds me that I still cherish my yoga practice, teaching and reading cards. Theyā€™ve been with me for almost 3 decades (tarot even longer). I may not post about them frequently but theyā€™re a grounding and spiritual part of my life. I continue to teach regularly in Banff and have the joy of practicing in our old yoga studio that haColemened to build a thriving community State Yoga Banff blanket that holds many special memories and I love seeing it grow & welcome new faces over the years. Behind the scenes I read tarot quite frequently online and in person. I love how word of mouth creates a network of querents and SEOā€™s are a subtle way to connect people. Celebrating Earth day with beauty. Lilies are among the most exalted flowers in the world šŸŒŽ they represent the cyclical nature of life, beauty, elegance and love.

In I found inspiration for this painting from the cover of a Vanity Fair where was featured. Iā€™ve had this in the file folders of my mind since November and as soon as I came home from my retreats, Iā€™ve been working on this piece. Inspiration is an amazing thing where the vision is so clear in my mind and to create it on canvas just like this is something Iā€™m very happy to sharešŸ¤šŸ¤šŸ¤

Inspired by a stunning photograph taken by Iā€™ve had this one in my favourite albums for a while now. Always appreciate the creatives and how they capture the world behind the lens and then allow inspired painters to run with their own version. Thank you for thatšŸ™ŒšŸ˜ Hereā€™s my finished oil painting of the final assignment of Part 1 Mastery Program. Creating with directional mark making technique where paint is mixed optically on the canvas. Love this style and understand why artists like Seurat & Van Gogh enjoyed this approach.

I woke up this morning in a blissful state of reflection from the past 5 weeks of retreats. I connected with 39 women from different parts of the world and shared life time experiences that Iā€™m forever grateful for. Zooming in on each group, I see you all and I want to thank you for carving out the time to do something meaningful and special for yourself. That break from your daily routine makes us appreciate all the blessings we have and reignites a youthful spark of wonder for the people and places we connect to. I love being apart of the EatPrayMove community and team of super humans that make these experiences possible. Retreats are an extraordinary way to remember who we are. So continue to surround yourself with joyful, supportive people who love you just as you are, stay curious and love the planet and its people unconditionally šŸ©·I look forward to crossing paths again - until then Iā€™ll be beaming with inspiration from my travels and grateful for connecting with incredible humans like youšŸ©·keep shining bright xo
