Unfortunately due to health issues I need to take a halt to my tattooing career.
As most of my clients know, I was in a car accident back in 2018. Aside from the mental aspects it had left me with permanent damage to my back, neck and knee.
Over the years I’ve had no issues pushing through with breaks and stretching. In July, I took an extremely hard fall landing directly on my spine and hoped some rest and shortened sessions might help me continue to move forward..
I was wrong, over these past few months it has progressively gotten worse, in turn I cannot last more than 30 mins in a session without needing a break, holding back tears, it’s gotten to a point I can’t work, sit, or stand without intense discomfort and pain.
This is taking a toll on me not just physically, but mentally. It’s contributing to an intense burnout. You guys deserve me at my best and I deserve to be at my 100% not just pushing through because I feel obligated to.
With that said, me not working equals me needing to close down shop. This breaks my heart, I have put so much time, effort, and love to create a safe space for everyone who enters. Unfortunately bills are high, this economy fu***ng sucks right now and I cannot afford to keep it open with me discontinuing work.
I wish my two lovely artists Dakota ( ) and Siu (.tattoos ) nothing but the absolute best. They’re not only phenomenal artists, but amazing people. I have been so fortunate and blessed to have met them in this walk of life to build friendships and work alongside with them. Thank you for your guys support, kindness and love.
Any touch ups/pieces I need to finish please get in contact with me. For any pieces you’re wanting to start I can point you in a few directions of artists I trust (Dakota is obviously my first recommendation)
Pieces that were started must be completed by end of May.
Thank you for your understanding, wearing and trusting me with your pieces over the years, for the friendships and love, and any and all support you all have given me. It’s never gone unnoticed and I have the upmost gratitude for every single one of you.
With love,
Chels
