THE SCALE IS NOT AN INDICATION OF SUCCESS!
I started lifting weights regularly and I thought I would take a picture today to measure my success over the last 3 weeks, clearly I have lost inches! So I hopped on the scale for 💩s and giggles, and guess what? I was up 5 lbs.
I am 5lbs heavier in the photo on the right than the left!
I see so many people who get on that darn scale, get discouraged and then quit what they are doing, if you are making positive changes, you will see positive results! It just takes time!
Stop chasing a specific number and start chasing better health. I promise you, when you put your focus on getting healthier, stronger, building endurance & making better food choices, THE RESULTS WILL COME!
I have literally had people say "I have
More energy
Less bloating
Less cravings
My clothes fit better
My appetite has decreased
But I only lost 5lbs, I was expecting way more, and I fell off the wagon because I was discouraged."
Excuse me what? You just named 5 wins and you managed to pick the one thing that didn't go the way you expected and you focused on that one thing?
Listen, it doesn't matter how many times you have to start again as long as you start again!
It's a mindset thing! Work on changing your mindset and you will begin to change your life!
