We are so excited about these sessions and looking forward to meeting all who have signed up!

Ready to have your child/teen attend our NeuroNest Program?

We begin with understanding — not conformity.
How does my brain work?
What does overwhelm feel like in my body?
What helps me regulate?
What are my strengths?
What do I need?
How can I communicate that?
How does neurodivergence fit into my identity?

Reach out! We'd love to send you some information!

Saying “I’m struggling” is hard.
Saying “I don’t want to be here anymore” can feel terrifying.

People may worry they will scare someone. That they will be judged. That people will panic. That they will become a burden. That they won’t be understood. Or that once they say the words out loud, they will lose control over what happens next.
So sometimes people stay silent.

Su***de prevention cannot only be about telling people to ask for help.

It also has to be about becoming people, families, workplaces, schools and communities that are safe to ask for help from.

Let's create more places that are safe .... safe to ask for help from, together.

Mind 2 Heart offers professional therapy. We are not a crisis or emergency service.

Our Promise to Families!

At NeuroNest, every child is seen, understood, and celebrated. We partner with families to share insights and create consistency between home and program.

Together, we help children build confidence, connection, independence, and a stronger sense of belonging, at a pace that respects their nervous system and individual journey.

Reach out via message, we'd love to send you some information on our program!

A Monday Moment with Laura!

What is one book you have read that you absolutely love?

I’m going to answer this one from the perspective of a neurodivergent brain, because choosing one book doesn’t really reflect how I read.

I’ve read many, many parts of wonderful books. I seldom read only one book at a time .

I usually have three or four on the go and I rarely read a book straight from front to back unless it’s a really good fantasy novel.

Instead, I tend to collect pieces: ideas, passages, stories and concepts that stay with me.

So rather than one favourite book, here are pieces of some of the books that have stayed with me most:
• Atlas of the Heart — Brené Brown
• The Boy Who Was Raised as a Dog — Bruce D. Perry & Maia Szalavitz
• Man’s Search for Meaning — Viktor E. Frankl
• A Child’s Garden of Verses — Robert Louis Stevenson, particularly “The Swing”

Maybe that’s my answer: I don’t necessarily have a favourite book. I have favourite pieces of books that have found their way into how I understand people, childhood, trauma, connection, resilience and meaning.

What is one of your favourite books and or part of a book?
