This World Mental Health Day, we’re reminding our staff, caregivers and community that you deserve support, too. You don’t have to reach a breaking point or prove that things are “bad enough” to ask for help.

Take a moment to check in with yourself. Reach out to someone you trust. And when you ask a colleague how they’re doing, make room for an honest answer.

Today, we pause to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡

We honour the Survivors of residential schools, the children who never returned home, and the families and communities who continue to carry the impacts of the residential school system.

Reconciliation requires more than acknowledgement. It asks us to keep listening, learning and making space for Indigenous voices, histories and experiences.

Today and every day, we encourage our community to continue that learning. We also encourage everyone to wear their orange shirts today as we stand together in recognition, remembrance and support.

Registration is now open for the next Project ECHO Skin and Wound Care cohort! 📣

Cohort E, Cycle 1 will focus on Limb Preservation: Leg & Foot Ulcers, bringing healthcare professionals together for practical learning, collaborative case discussions and care planning. Sessions are held virtually via Zoom every Wednesday from 1–3 PM ET, from September 30 to November 18, 2026.

The program is open to all healthcare professionals across Ontario at no cost, with a Certificate of Attendance and CME/Education Credits awarded by Queen’s University.

Cycle 1 is also complemented by a 1-day skills training connected to the ECHO toolkit, featuring specialized tools and resources to support wound assessment and clinical decision-making.
