This beautiful soul came all the way from Calgary to get tattooed by me, and that honestly means more than I can put into words. The fact that someone would travel that far, choose my work, and trust my hands is something I’ll never take for granted.

This is why I love seeing my work come back healed. Fresh tattoos will always look a little darker, sharper and more defined — but once they settle into the skin, they soften into something so natural and delicate.

And that’s always the goal with my fine line work: not just for it to look beautiful the day you leave my chair, but for it to heal beautifully too. ✨

A touch-up doesn’t mean it was a bad tattoo. Fine-line tattoos are delicate, and every person’s skin heals differently. Sometimes certain areas can heal lighter, fade a little, or need a tiny bit of extra love once everything is fully settled.

I would always rather have you come back for a touch-up than leave you with something you’re not completely happy with. My goal isn’t just for your tattoo to look beautiful the day you get it — I want it to heal beautifully and still look beautiful years and years from now. 🤍

Healing is part of the process. Touch-ups are part of the care. ✨

Work-life balance. 🤍

I used to think taking time off meant I was falling behind. There was always something that needed to be done, someone who needed me, or another goal I could be working toward.

But I’m learning that rest is productive too.

Sometimes you need to step away from the routine, disconnect from the noise and give yourself time to simply breathe. Not because you’ve finished everything — because honestly, when is everything ever finished? 😂 — but because you need it.

I’ll always be someone who works hard and has a million things on the go, but I’m learning that I don’t have to earn the right to slow down.

Life needs balance. Work hard, chase your goals, handle your responsibilities… but make room for yourself too.

Sometimes a little time away is exactly what you need to come back feeling like yourself again. 🤍
