Another sweet day at the shop on Sunday. Good times, some good movies, great clients and a portrait tattoo. Any day I have a portrait tattoo to do it’s a stand out day. This portrait is of the clients grandfather. North Shore Regiment. World war 2 soldier. It was def a bit nerve wracking as the photo was old and out of focus so there is a bit of trying to see through time to deliver a crisper image to the client, this can be scary. But I think I’ve gotten a close likeness going to source pic, and I have one more session to go to tighten up even more and put a touch of army green in the uniform and some frost grey (slight blue grey) in the background…. Lookin retry wicked already, but remember…. One more session to go so this is a progress pic not the Final Cut 🤟😎🤟

Just realized I forgot to post this tat of some sweet snowflakes! I’m confident in saying I believe these are the first of the coming season😉… I did two more smaller ones on the other side of the arm but unfortunately they are badly out of focus. I’m Definetly a fan of large epic tattoos but I must say it is fun as hell to sit down and do a smaller tattooin one sit. Very satisfying. Another fun session for sure,…. Looking sweet 🤟😎🤟

Great way to start the week! Always a fun session when Bruno comes down ta hang out. Got to work on a little full shoulder armour/skin trauma piece we got started a few weeks ago. One session to go. Beyond getting some good ink done, a gotta mention the amazing 80’s rockride sing along we had going all afternoon. Just two artists with 2 clients, rockin out and singing out loud all afternoon. That’s the way she goes down at the shop every day, unless movies have been requested for another daylong tattoo cinema on the big screen. No sing alongs on those days. But popcorn for clients available 😉. God damn I love my job… another day, another tattoo looking wicked 🤟😎🤟

A month ago a wicked steady client of mine came in for her final session on a sleeve we have been slowely but surely and patiently building. Over the last 10 years I’m guessing🤯… this is a sweet example of it’s never to late to finish your sleeve, or how beautiful a sleeve can turn out if collected slowely but steady over time, …. It does not have to be something ya do in a couple weeks or a month 😉 Which can certainly be impressive dine fast if dine by an artist who can deliver. I’m just saying you can take yer time and still end up with a bangin sleeve of art under your skin. Congrats Jenny! Your arm looks wicked , thanks for all the good times and yer perseverance! 🤟😎🤟.

A little more monkey business at the shop today…. A piece is not finished for me till that little creative voice in my head gives me leave to say so. What can I say I’m friggin thorough. This piece was mostly done but it just struck me as being to solid on the edges. Just felt the negative space around the image needed sone love, a fade out let’s say to make the piece truly take over the body part it was on. So that’s what I did. A nice fade grey tone fade out so the edges around the image were not so hard. To me this hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil piece looks so much better, and the client agreed! Now I’m gonna say it…, Lookin wicked 🤟😎🤟

Was looking forward to today’s session all week, and it did not disappoint! Nothing more fun than a portrait tattoo, for me anyway. Ecspecially when it’s a face everyone knows. Today was Ozzy. Working on this tattoo, with a great client listening to Ozzy all day nice and loud. Definitely very pleased with today’s tattoo as was the client. Looking wicked 🤟😎🤟
