As we approach a new season, our fundraising efforts are commensing. If you would like to support our Residents and their leisure activities, consider this opportunity. All info is on the poster. Ready... Set... Dunk!!

What a fantastic afternoon of beautiful sunshine and so much fun! Our Residents, families and staff filled the parking lot to enjoy some delicious food from SpuDogs food truck, entertainment from Pastor Rick and his band, a balloon creation from Larry the Balloon Man, tattoos and face painting from our student volunteers Hailey, Lauren, Cora, Leah and Mya, and sundaes , refreshments and balloon dart game from our Rec. staff!! The Dunk Tank was a huge success! Our Residents, the kids, family members and staff put down their money and lined up to take their turn and try their luck at dunking our participants. Thank you for your support!! Thank you to Ames Leslie, Jeremy Cockrill and Shannon Domes for taking one... ok several... dunks for our Residents!! We could not have done it without you! 😉

Our annual Family Fun Day is Thursday August 20th from 1-3pm. Spudogs food truck will be here! Music with Pastor Rick! Larry the Balloon Man! Face painting, tattoos and games! The highlight for the afternoon is the dunk tank!! Come out and dunk our Battleford Mayor, our Minister of Health and our Clinical Manager!! All proceeds go to our Residents and their programming needs!!

Helping Fill Hearts & Cupboards This Holiday Season

Our SUN Union has set up a drop-off box for non-perishable donations in support of the Battlefords Food & Resource Centre—and we’re inviting our community to join us in making a real difference.

Every can, box, or bag helps a neighbour in need. ❤️
All donations will be delivered on December 19th, 2025.

Let’s fill this “piggy bank” to the brim and show what community care looks like! (Piggy Bank drop off box is located on Ward 1 at BDCC.)

Thank you in advance for your generosity and for supporting those who could use a little extra this season.
