They are here to provide comfort and companionship to their humans. Since they are sentient beings, I feel it is just as important to help them when they are in pain or feeling unwell. 🩵 2026 Final Trek Update 🩵

Team Talon raised a total of $2725.70 for Tourette Canada during the Trek for Tourette Fundraiser.

Talon ran 5km on May 31st to raise awareness and advocacy for those living with Tourette Syndrome, and to help people better understand what Tourette’s truly is.

I am so incredibly proud of this little man, and I’m super grateful to each and everyone who supported his cause.

When he says next year will be better, he has some big plans on what we are going to do, and he’d also love others to join his team and participate (you don’t have to run the 5km, walking is just as amazing!!!)

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far - it really does mean a lot to Talon. Like he said in the video he is .60 cents away from Team Talon fundraising $2500 for the cause. He is still collecting donations until midnight tomorrow!

Taking a moment to introduce the newest set of paws to North Pelham.

Everyone meet Rusty…. Not to be mistaken for our Tucker - although a double take is indeed required.

Before anyone asks - this little guy is not 100% mine, but shared within the household and spending the majority of the time upstairs in the main house! John will have a pup to sleep with again (instead of stealing mine 🤣🤣)

So far he is a happy fella, needs some obedience training, and will require some time to adjust into his new Canadian life (he ventured up from Kentucky)

Thank you Shelly for helping make this happen!!

More adventures and a happy fulfilled life for this senior guy! He even enjoyed his first pup cup!

Massive thank you to the Respond Animal Therapeutics team at the The FitPaws World Agility Open Championships for lending myself and my healthcare partner Lauren of Chinook Canine Rehab a PEMF mat to assist with the WAO Team Canada dogs recovery during the entire competition!!

The World Agility Open 2026, what can I say, this is one of my most favourite events, locations, and agility to watch. I may be a wee jet lagged still 🙃❤️🤣

I also got the amazing opportunity to be apart of once again, which is always an honour to be trusted to care for and work with the handlers and their canine athletes.

This year, I got the chance to work collaboratively with Lauren of - and if I’m honest, it was like working alongside a longtime friend. Many laughs and memories were made.

Team Canada truly did amazing, it is a long week of competition, but you wouldn’t have known that through their perseverance, positivity, and constant support of one another.

Some of my favourite parts of watching any of the agility competitions and trials, are the connections between handler and dog ❤️

🇨🇦 And that’s a wrap 🇨🇦

WAO 2026 was an absolute blast (even despite the cold rainy weather 🐾) to the management team, the handlers and canine athletes, friends from other countries, and to my newest healthcare teammate Lauren - I’d share a horse stall and cabin with you all over again - every single team member gave it their all and represented with Canadian pride. I’m always so grateful to be apart of this team!

Who Can? Canada Can!!! Eh, Eh, EH!!!!

Having an absolutely wonderful time working with Lauren of (Lethbridge, AB) here at the 🐾

The handlers and canine athletes (& management too) of are really working hard through the varying weather elements, tough courses, and long days - but they are truly doing amazing.

Watching this level of agility is nothing short of amazing, and I know I speak for us both (not in third person Lauren 🤣) when I say we are honoured to be apart of this team and working together!

Another day down, another one to come! Who can? Canada Can! 🇨🇦
