Our new acupuncturist Joleen starts this week! Joleen has thousands of hours of practical clinical experience treating a variety of patients with herbal medicine and acupuncture. She offers appointments in registered acupuncture, cosmetic & abdominal acupuncture, allergy treatments, and medical herbalism. Each session works on treating the underlying cause of disharmony in your body. She can address all sorts of issues: from pain to autoimmune issues to digestive complaints to menopausal symptoms and more. Your appointment may also include cupping or moxibustion, as appropriate. These sessions are eligible for direct billing if you have insurance coverage.

After recently relocating from Vancouver Island, Joleen is excited to be joining the Bear River community and welcoming new patients.

With extensive clinical experience, Joleen has treated patients with a wide range of health concerns using acupuncture and herbal medicine. Her approach is gentle, thoughtful, and individualized, with treatments tailored to each person's unique needs and health goals.

Joleen offers registered acupuncture including cosmetic acupuncture, and herbal medicine. She has a particular interest and additional training in gentle, Japanese acupuncture techniques and minimal needle techniques for those who are nervous about needles, which emphasize careful diagnosis and comfortable, precise treatments.

Whether you're seeking relief from pain, stress, digestive concerns, hormonal issues, allergies, or simply looking to support your overall health, Joleen is looking forward to helping you on your health journey.
