I want to take a moment to share something from my heart, and our team, to our customers.
In March of this year, we experienced a tragedy that left a big void in our store.
Our Front Store Manager, Jim O’Brien, unexpectedly passed away, leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.
Jim spent approximately 32 years with Shoppers Drug Mart, including 16 years here in Beaumont. He was a constant, steady presence in our store and someone so many of us relied on for his experience, wisdom, and thoughtful advice. His absence is still deeply felt by those of us who had the privilege of working alongside him.
I wanted to honour Jim in a way that would allow his presence to continue to be felt in our store, so we installed this bench in his memory. My hope is that it becomes a place where we can sit for a moment, reflect, and have a little chat with Jim whenever we need it.
Jim, you are dearly missed. Thank you for the many years you gave to this store and for the lasting impact you made on so many of us. ❤️
