The St. John’s Regatta is Canada's oldest organized sporting event, held since 1826.

Today we invite you to join us in thanking our pharmacy assistant of 13 years, Tammie Taplin, for the hard work and dedication she has demonstrated in her role and towards her community during her time at Family Drug Mart.

Through the ever-changing profession of pharmacy, increasing pressures on our healthcare system, and the COVID-19 Pandemic, Tammie has provided essential care to her community by ensuring the residents of Bell Island have access to medicines, vaccines, and pharmacy services. As a pharmacy assistant, a great deal of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into ensuring patients have access to medication goes unnoticed, but today we hope to bring attention to Tammie’s essential role in her community.

Although Tammie’s time at Family Drug Mart is coming to an end, we wish Tammie and her family every success in their future endeavours and thank her for her dedication to the patients of Family Drug Mart!
