Hey there!
My name is Samira and I am a master's student in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University completing my practicum here at Evolve. I have a background in behavioural psychology and I believe strongly in the connections between our behaviours, thoughts, and emotions. Small changes in one of these areas can have a cascading effect among all three of them.
I take a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy and believe strongly in the influence of a strong therapeutic alliance. As a student, I am providing psychotherapy at a reduced cost, so if you were ever interested in therapy but the cost was a concern this is a great opportunity to try it out!
