Raise your hand if you’ve ever treated “healthy” as a destination.

By that I mean, you set a goal, make a plan, and then brought it to life.

But then once you reached the goal, you slipped back into your old habits.

You are not alone! (Shocking stat: between 80% to 95% who lose weight eventually gain it all back. This is a HUGE reason why I don't promote diets.)

The fact is, being “healthy” is a lifestyle.

The good news about THAT is that it’s not about being PERFECT. It’s about being consistent and making it part of your regular routine.

You may have a day where you:

🍔 Enjoy a treat meal
🛋️ Skip a workout
😴 Struggle with sleep

But these moments don't equate to failure. Instead, they signify that the following moment is a fresh opportunity to resume your path, liberated from the judgments of the "healthy' police. It's all about nurturing enduring habits, not seeking quick fixes, and dismantling the unreasonable rules that diet culture has created deep within your psyche. Embracing this perspective is a vital stride on your journey towards Intuitive Eating.

👉 There’s usually a silver lining hidden in doing hard things…

When you do hard things — you discover (and build) REAL strength.

The kind of strength I’m talking about has nothing to do with being able to follow a meal plan, get your daily walk, and make time for sleep every night.

Instead, it’s KNOWING you have the strength to do what you have to do, when you have to do it.

It’s being able to count on yourself.

It gives you confidence that carries over into other areas of your life.

So if you feel like you’re standing at the foot of your own personal health mountain right now, I want you to know this: you are stronger than you think.

You just have to DECIDE to take action, and then watch those inner strength muscles grow!

🔥OK, so your brain is NOT a muscle, but it still needs exercise!

Keeping your brain fit & healthy with regular exercise can boost your memory, focus, creativity, and keep your brain sharp as you get older.

Plus, it can help you fight off age-related dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Some ideas:
Do puzzles, play cards, or try games that test your memory
Dance, get cardio exercise, and do strength-training workouts
Learn new hobbies, languages, and/or take classes
Do more activities that use all your senses: seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and touching
Try new things: take new travel routes, make new recipes, visit new places
Play the “4 things” game to boost your focus: When you speak to someone, notice 4 things about them, or when you go into a room, take note of 4 things about it

Not only will you help keep your brain healthy, you’ll have fun in the process!
