Because Facebook is being difficult in letting me leave this page, I felt I had to post something for this week that celebrates PARAMEDICS!!! I could get all mushy and deep about the job I loved. But no, I am just going to say - stay safe, stay strong, have each others back. Happy Paramedics Week!!!

Well folks, an era has come to an end. We have sold our EMS company after many long years of service (longer than a life sentence). With all the struggles and sacrifices, we have no regrets and are leaving the company in very capable hands. Thank you to all our staff (present and former) who acted with professionalism and integrity over the years. We could not have done it without you. And to our children, our success is just as much yours as you grew to understand the urgency of the EMS life. To all our EMS family, fellow healthcare workers, and community partners, it was great working with you. Now off to a life of no radios, no phone calls, no uniforms, no wait times. Our time is finally our own.

We are saddened to learn of the loss of Ontario Provincial Police Sergeant Brandon Malcolm following an on-duty motorcycle collision on Highway 401 in Cobourg, Ontario yesterday.

Our support and deepest sympathy extends to the family and loved ones of Sergeant Malcolm, the Ontario Provincial Police, and all others impacted by this tragedy.
