Something pretty awesome is happening right beside the shop.
Our friend and local artist Chad Tyson is currently bringing a brand-new mural to life in Downtown Bowmanville β celebrating the history, character and community we get to call home.
And here's the really cool part: Chad is creating this as a grassroots community project and, as of right now, is funding the mural himself. His 14-year-old daughter has even been out there helping him bring it to life!
So when Chad stopped by the shop and told us what he was working on, we knew we wanted to help spread the word.
If you'd like to support the project, any contribution is appreciated and will help offset the cost of paint, supplies, equipment and materials.

Chad is hoping to have the mural completed well before Applefest, with the possibility of celebrating it with a ribbon cutting during the festival.
We can't wait to watch this wall transform β and we're pretty lucky to have it happening right next door!
