“Mental health is not a one size fits all situation. Some people need medication/therapy their whole lives. They're not deciding to be broken, that's just what helps them best.“
This is 100% true. Some people do need medication and therapy their whole lives.
And others, like me, somehow manage to get off the merry-go-round and heal despite my best efforts to destroy myself.
But how do you know which group you are in if you only ever try the one path?? 🤔
The truth is if what you are doing is helping you and you are truly feeling empowered and healthy, then you don’t need someone like me!
And for many who struggle, traditional treatment options are the lesser of the evils designed to keep them from drowning without ever really teaching them how to swim.
And that’s who I want to talk to.
💬 I want to talk to the ones who want to do MORE. Live more, laugh more, be more.
💬 I want to talk to the ones for whom “doing better” isn’t good enough.
💬 I want to talk to the ones who are ready to heal, fully. On all levels.
