Many people are surprised to learn that some medications may affect nutrient levels over time.

For example:

• Acid-reducing medications may lower vitamin B12 and magnesium
• Metformin can reduce B12 levels
• Some diuretics may affect potassium and magnesium
• Statins may reduce CoQ10, a nutrient important for cellular energy

This may include concerns like allergies, pink eye, cold sores, acne, certain rashes, bug bites, hives, uncomplicated UTIs, GERD, and more.

At WellnessRX Pharmacy, our pharmacist will assess your symptoms, review your health history, consider your medications, and help determine whether pharmacist prescribing is appropriate — or whether you should be referred to a doctor or nurse practitioner.
