I was getting a sore throat (again) while catching up on Game of Thrones, and rubbed some On Guard on my throat where it hurt, shoulder muscles, spine and bottom of feet. And almost immediately the sore throat went away and in 1/2 hour I was sweating out whatever was in me.

Amber painted yesterday and the paint wouldn't come off the table! So this morning I put some lemon essential oil, scrubbed it around with a soft bristle brush to spread it around, and wiped off with paper towel. Good as new! This works with other things like grease, pen marks, sticker goo. Lemon is also a great wood polisher!

Thank you Dr. Allyson Tang Optometrist for hosting last Sunday's essential oils workshop. Everyone had a blast! We made bathsalts, did a breathing exercise and learned lots and lots about essential oils!

Fever finally broke for Oakland and he's my happy baby again! He might also be learning how to pick his nose!

We went to the hospital on Thursday at 4am, because he had a 104.5 fever that wouldn't come down. After an xray, the doctors determined he had a bit of pneumonia, and put him on a round of antibiotics. After 1.5 days of antibiotics, he finally broke his fever! We'll definitely put him on probiotics after his round of antibiotics to make his gut super strong!
For my family, we chose to let his immune system fight the virus that was attacking him so he can build a strong immune system. We let natural remedies like essential oils to help him breathe better and sleep better. When it was time, we finally took him to the hospital. We didn't only rely on one method or the other. We followed our gut instincts and determined what was best for our child. Now, he will have a stronger immune system than before, thanks to his body working hard to fight this bug!

Both kids are sick. Oakland is feverish and congested. Amber is feverish and caught the tummy bug. Diffusing Breathe and On guard to protect and I, and to help them feel better soon. Put Digestzen on Amber's tummy, ankle and bottom of feet to help her tummy ache. Feel better soon kids.
