Today, on Child Care Worker & Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day, we proudly recognize the incredible professionals who help children learn, grow and thrive every day.

At ErinoakKids, we're grateful for the dedication, compassion and expertise of our Early Childhood Resource Services (ECRS) team, Entry to School (ETS) team, and all of our child care workers who support children and families across our communities.

Through play-based learning, skill development, family support and school readiness programs, they help build confidence, foster independence and create meaningful opportunities for every child to reach their full potential.

This Thanksgiving weekend, we're feeling especially grateful for our incredible Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs)!

OTAs play a vital role in the therapy and rehabilitation journey, working alongside Occupational Therapists to help children and youth build the skills, confidence and independence they need for everyday life.

Through creative, hands-on activities, they support progress in areas like play, self-care, motor development and participation at home, school and in the community.

At ErinoakKids, our OTAs make a meaningful difference every day, helping children and youth achieve their goals and thrive in the activities that matter most.

We are incredibly grateful to Buddha's Light International Association Fo Guang Shan Temple of Toronto ε€šε€«ε€šδ½›ε…‰ε±±
for their unwavering support of ErinoakKids through Veg Run 2026.

This year, they raised over $11,000 to help children and youth with disabilities and their families access life-changing programs and services.

This marks their fourth consecutive year of their support and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for their generosity, dedication and commitment to our community.

This support makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and families every day.
