🌳 A New Chapter for the Tree of Life Community 🌳
Starting September 1, we are making a small but meaningful change. Our Tree of Life Cancer Survivor Group will become the Tree of Life Cancer Support Group.
This change comes from a place of hope and a desire to make our group a welcoming space for everyone affected by cancer—whether you are newly diagnosed, going through treatment, living beyond cancer, supporting a loved one, or simply looking for people who understand what you are going through.
Cancer can be a difficult and sometimes lonely journey, but we don't have to walk it alone. 💚
The Tree of Life Cancer Support Group will be a place where we can:
• 🌱 Share our experiences and stories
• 🤝 Support and encourage one another
• 💚 Celebrate the good days and help each other through the difficult ones
• 🌻 Learn from one another
• 🫶 Build friendships and a sense of community
• 🌳 Remind each other that there is hope, strength, and life beyond the diagnosis
We are not changing who we are—we are opening our circle wider.
My hope is that this group becomes a place where we can all give and receive support, knowing that every person's journey is different and every person's voice matters.
If you have been looking for a place where you can connect with others who understand, we would love to have you join us.
Together, we can grow stronger, support one another, and continue to grow our Tree of Life. 🌳💚
Everyone is welcome.

🌿 A Little Something Made With Love 🤍
I’ve been making my own whipped tallow face cream, and I’m excited to finally share it with you!
As a cancer survivor, I understand how important it can feel to be mindful of the products we put on our bodies. My own journey has made me much more conscious of the ingredients in the products I use, and I wanted to create something simple, nourishing, and made without unnecessary synthetic ingredients. 🌿
Made in small batches with tallow, olive oil, frankincense, lavender, and eucalyptus, this beautiful cream is made with simple ingredients and lots of love. ✨
Each jar is handmade with care and created to leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized.
🌿 Tallow — naturally rich and nourishing for the skin
🫒 Olive Oil — helps moisturize and contains Vitamin E
✨ Frankincense — traditionally valued for its skin-supporting properties
💜 Lavender — gentle, soothing, and beautifully calming
🌱 Eucalyptus — adds a fresh, clean aroma and refreshing feeling
Made with love, from my hands to yours. 🌿✨

🌿✨ Introducing Wellness Wednesday ✨🌿
Launching Wednesday, July 29th on the Tree of Life Survivors Group
Your wellness journey begins with one small step. 💚
After cancer, many of us spend so much time focused on getting through treatment that we don’t always know what comes next.
The scans are clear. The appointments become less frequent. You hear the words “you are in remission” — and then you begin a new chapter.
A chapter of learning how to care for yourself, rebuild your strength, and create a healthy lifestyle that supports the life you are living today.
That is why I am excited to introduce:
🌿 Wellness Wednesday 🌿
A weekly series focused on simple, practical ways we can support our health and well-being.
Together, we will explore:
🥗 Nutrition
🚴 Movement
🧘 Mindset
💧 Recovery
🌱 Healthy daily habits
No perfection. No pressure. Just small steps that can make a difference.
Our first series will focus on Simple Nutrition.
📖 Wednesday, July 29th
Reading Food Labels — What Are We Really Eating?
Have you ever picked up a product because the front of the package says “healthy,” “natural,” or “good for you,” but wondered what is actually inside?
We’re going to learn how to look beyond the marketing and understand the information that matters — so we can make choices that truly support our bodies.
Join me every Wednesday as we learn, grow, and take this wellness journey together.
Because survivorship is not just about adding years to our life…
It’s about adding life, strength, and wellness to our years. 💚
🌳 Welcome to Wellness Wednesday.

Being told you are cancer-free is a moment you dream about throughout treatment.
You wait for the words. You hope for the scan results. You imagine the day your oncologist says, "Your scan is clear. You are in remission."
And then it happens.
For a moment, there is relief, gratitude, and celebration.
But soon after, another question often appears...
What now?
The weekly appointments stop. The bi-weekly visits end. The familiar faces at the cancer clinic become less frequent. The team that has guided and supported you throughout treatment is no longer part of your regular routine.
And while many people around you may think life simply goes back to normal, survivors know something different.
There is no going back to the old normal.
Cancer changes you.
Instead, you begin learning how to live in a new normal—one that may include follow-up scans, lingering side effects, new priorities, deeper gratitude, unexpected fears, and a different perspective on life.
There can be anxiety before every scan. Questions about the future. Concerns about recurrence. And sometimes, feelings that are difficult to explain to those who have never walked this path.
The truth is that survivorship comes with its own challenges.
That is why Tree of Life exists.
A place where you don't have to explain your fears, your emotions, or your questions. A place where others truly understand what life after treatment feels like because they are navigating their own new normal too.
If you are learning how to live beyond cancer, know that you are not alone. Your treatment may be over, but your survivorship journey is just beginning—and together we can support one another every step of the way.
