Just wanted to make a quick post to address something concerning that has been brought to our attention. Apparently there is someone by the name of Inkman Brett who has been giving our shop address out in private messages, saying that he works here. Anyone who has been to our shop knows that this isn't the case, but our concern arises for folks who aren't familiar with us. He is requiring deposits to book appointments and we would hate to see anyone get taken advantage of.

Incase you missed it, we will be doing a draw for a free 2 hour tattoo and are looking to get as many donations to Out of the Cold Hfx as possible. If you’d like to support a wonderful organization, get your donation doubled and also get the chance to win a free tattoo, you have until February 29th to do so! All we require is proof of donation made to and your name will be automatically entered in. There is absolutely no minimum donation amount required and we appreciate all donations, big or small.
Donations made by the date of the draw will be matched by the wonderful up to $1000! We received a heartwarming message from them looking to help us in getting more donations and we couldn’t be more appreciative! A huge thank you goes out all our wonderful clients, friends and family who have already donated and also to for his generous contribution!

For Tuesdays birthday this year, he’s asking for donations to ! Any and all donations are really appreciated, so much so that every message we get, with proof of donation, will enter your name in a draw for a free tattoo up to 2 hours! Augustus is a scavenger who has a slightly worrisome obsession with teeth. Wearing a crown of deer teeth and moss he uses his trusty torch to search the forest floor for more teeth and bones to add to his collection 🦷

🍂 Jay has felted us a couple new shop friends to keep us company. But they would love to come live with one of you.

Gus is a determined lil' mushroom dude who scours the forest under the cover of night for his most prized possessions. He comes with a removal witches hat and sassy attitude.

Ghast is a shy lil' ghost who haunts mushrooms by day and eats peanut butter sandwiches by night. He may not be the most talkative friend you have, but he always has great advice on how to fold your fitted sheets.

Both are available for sale and can be picked up in person at the shop 🍂

In our usual Upon The Grove style, we are a little late with our announcement 😅 but as of October 1st we have officially been open for 2 years now!!! 🎉🎉🎉
We would like to thank all of our wonderful clients, new and old, for their continued love and support. All this wouldn't be possible without all of you. Here's to many more years to come 🥂

On a different note, we'd also like to wish you all a safe and happy fall! Grab your favorite sweater, drink a pumpkin spice latte, take a long stroll in the woods, stuff your pockets full of leaves, buy a whole box of Halloween candy and eat it by yourself, wear a pumpkin on your head 'til it rots... the possibilities are endless. Today, March 31st is Transgender Day of Visibility, dedicated to recognizing the strength, resistance and accomplishments of the transgender community.

To all our trans folks out there who are struggling, we stand with you. To all the incredible people we have lost over the years, we remember you. And to all the people who aren't able to safely come out, we see you and love you. You are not alone.

Today we ask that everyone shows acts of kindness for others. You never know what someone is struggling with and we need so much more kindness in the world.

With the onslaught of anti-trans legislation, it is more important than ever that we stick together. Tell the people in your life that you love them; Spread love, be supportive and lift people up.
