Saying “Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit” aloud, first thing upon waking on the first day of a new month, is an old charm to ensure good fortune throughout the month.

“Additionally, the Rabbit and Hare have also long been associated with the Goddess and were the totem of several: the hare to Artemis and Hecate, the sacred rabbit to Aphrodite, to Holda who was accompanied by several torch-bearing hares, to Cerridwen and Freyja who both had hare attendants, and, of course, to Eostre who was said to have taken the shape of a hare at each full moon and whose Anglo-Saxon counterpart, Ostara, was often depicted with a white hare by her side.

There are many more goddesses associated with or attended to by both rabbits and hares and, in such, these gentle creatures can assist us in becoming more attuned to the lunar cycle. All rabbits in general are associated with the Moon, magick, luck, love, creativity, success, sensitivity, agility, spontaneity, abundance, rebirth and, of course, fertility.”

Note: Throughout Mesoamerica, the rabbit also attends the goddesses Coyolxauhqui and Ixchel, and in Chinese mythology, the Moon goddess Chang’e has a rabbit companion who mixes an elixir of life in a mortar and pestle.

Dear Yesterday…
You took me all over the place.

Yesterday you took me to fear and deep concern for a friend.

Yesterday.
You took me to ADVENTURE and exploration.
Deeeeeeeeep conversations.
Belly laughs and giggles.
Hugs and kisses.
Overall… you took me to deep grounding. As the winds of change blew and blew and blew….

I felt layers culling. Leaving.
Slipping away. Quietly.
Yet powerfully.
There was exposure.
There was vulnerability.
There was rawness.
And there was tenderness.
And care. Compassion.
And GRACE was shown to me.

And I accepted.

Dear Today.
A whole new world has opened since July and all of the investigation, training and paperwork. The culmination of my time and creative energy takes flight, starting this morning.

Today, please hold me tight. Calm my nerves and guide me with my words and actions so I may be of highest service to my beautiful new students starting out their journey, as well today.

Today please remind me that fear and excitement FEEL the same in our bodies… Please allow me to lean in to excitement. Keep me grounded and present.

Tomorrow. I surrender to you.
Take me to where I am meant to be.

THE EQUINOX IS HERE ✨ LIGHT AND DARKNESS MEET AT THE THRESHOLD ✨ SEPTEMBER 22, 2026

Dear friends, today we arrive at the Equinox, one of the great balancing points of the year. Across the planet, one season gives way to another, and for a brief celestial moment light and darkness stand in near-equal measure. There is something profoundly beautiful in that: different paths, different seasons, one shared point of balance. And perhaps something within us is arriving at that same place now, where what has been and what is becoming can finally meet without one having to erase the other.

Balance does not mean every part of life becomes equal, easy, or perfectly resolved. It means we stop allowing one side of the story to hold all the power. We can carry grief and still make room for joy. We can honor what ended and still welcome what is beginning. We can feel uncertainty and still remain faithful to what the soul already knows. Sometimes balance begins the moment we stop believing that healing requires us to deny half of ourselves.

The Equinox reminds us that light does not destroy darkness, and darkness does not defeat light. They meet. They reveal each other. And somewhere inside that meeting, Divine Intelligence invites us back to center. Not the center we perform for others, but the deeper place within us that remembers who we are when fear, urgency, expectations, and old identities become quieter. This is where the soul can finally be heard again.

Perhaps you have already felt this return. You are less willing to abandon yourself. Less willing to keep negotiating with what drains your spirit. Less willing to hide the truth of what you want, what you value, and what you are ready to become. Something sacred happens when we stop asking the old version of ourselves for permission to live differently. The outer change may still be small, but inside, an entire future can begin reorganizing itself around one honest choice.

And this Equinox is not an isolated moment. The Moon is already waxing toward Saturday’s Full Moon, carrying us from balance toward illumination and action. What we recognize now may become harder to ignore as that lunar light builds. The Equinox asks: where is your true center? The Full Moon ahead may ask: what are you finally willing to do from that center? One restores the inner axis. The other may illuminate what is ready to move.

Let this Equinox restore your center. Let the Full Moon ahead reveal what is ready to rise from it.
