When most women think about exercise, they think about:
• burning calories
• losing weight
• changing how their body looks
Those can all be worthwhile goals.
But I think one of the greatest benefits of exercise is something we don't talk about enough.
Every time you show up, lift a little heavier, or finish a workout you weren't sure you could...
You're collecting evidence.
Evidence that you're capable.
That your body is adaptable.
That you can do hard things.
Over time, that changes how you see yourself.
And that confidence doesn't stay in the gym.
It shows up at work, in your relationships, and when life gets stressful.
During perimenopause, when many women tell me they don't feel like themselves anymore, strength training can become a powerful way to rebuild trust in your body.
