That ache near your collarbone, upper chest, or even into the neck might not be coming from where you think👀

Your ribs don’t just wrap around your chest - they actually travel all the way up toward the collarbone and neck area. When those joints and muscles become tight or restricted, it can create soreness, stiffness, and that deep “hard to stretch out” feeling up high.

Because the ribs connect all throughout the thoracic spine and chest cavity, irritation or restriction lower down in the rib cage can sometimes create tension and discomfort higher up near the collarbone or neck. The body likes to “share” tension patterns.
