We said women’s health needed a different conversation.
Last night, we had it.

In honour of , we pulled together an intimate gathering of founders, builders, investors, and advocates for an evening that felt less like an event and more like a movement finding its footing.

Parnian of Fibra and Katie of MATRIARCH brought honesty, brilliance, and zero patience for the status quo.

Women’s health is not a niche. It is not a nice-to-have. It is the next frontier of health innovation.

Did you know the average doctor’s appointment can feel like a 7-minute window?

For many women, that short amount of time is expected to cover symptoms, concerns, medical history, questions, and the pressure of making sure they are taken seriously.

Technology should not replace the human connection between patients and providers. But it can help patients prepare, organize their thoughts, track patterns, and communicate their concerns more clearly when time is limited.

Because healthcare should not depend on whether you can explain everything perfectly in just a few minutes.

Most of us were taught that our menstrual cycle is a monthly inconvenience. What we weren't taught is that it's actually a 28-day hormonal rhythm that shapes our energy, cognition, social drive, and physical capacity — phase by phase.

Cycle syncing is the practice of working with those biological rhythms instead of against them: scheduling demanding tasks in your high-energy follicular phase, creative work around ovulation, reflection in the luteal phase, and rest during menstruation.

It's not about limiting yourself. It's about understanding your own operating system. 🌙

Swipe through to learn the basics — this might be the most useful thing you read this week.

What happens when technology connects with human health concerns?

On the Throttle Up Leadership Podcast with Dr. John P. Dentico, HerSay’s CEO Rebecca Lyons spoke about the growing role of technology in healthcare and why the human side still matters.

Technology can help us find patterns, organize information, and make healthcare easier to navigate. But it should not replace empathy, lived experience, or the importance of truly listening to patients.

Mental health and hormonal health are not separate conversations — especially for women.

PMDD. Perinatal mood disorders. Perimenopausal depression. These are recognized, hormonally-driven conditions with specific treatment pathways. But they're often missed because the hormonal pattern isn't identified.

If your anxiety spikes before your period, your depression worsens in perimenopause, or your mood crashed after giving birth — that pattern is clinical information. It deserves to be taken seriously.

This carousel is for every woman who was handed a prescription without anyone asking about her cycle. 💛

Persistent exhaustion. Feeling cold when everyone else is warm. Shortness of breath. Brain fog. Brittle nails.

For many women, these symptoms point to iron deficiency — the most common nutritional deficiency among menstruating women. And it's frequently missed because serum iron can look fine even when ferritin (your iron storage protein) is depleted.

If you've been told your bloodwork is normal but something still feels off, this one's worth a read.

Advocating for a ferritin test could change how you feel — and how clearly you think. 💪
