1. Inject — A PSMA-targeted tracer is administered through an IV.
2. Bind — The tracer attaches to the PSMA protein on the surface of prostate cancer cells.
3. Detect — The PET camera maps exactly where the tracer has bound.
4. Locate — The CT scan locates each signal within the body.

Together, these steps help pinpoint where prostate cancer is and how the disease is behaving.
