Going through boxes of old slides in the basement today - 1000s of images - and thought I would share some photos that were never published (and probably never will be). Perhaps some will be of interest???...

First up is a Mentawai shaman I briefly met on Siberut Island in 2007. I didn't catch his name and we stopped at this trading post for dugout canoe fuel as we journeyed upriver. I did manage to give him a kretek, take a few photos, then we departed...
